A biomass power plant and several photovoltaic systems ensure that the Bachgut annually produces more energy than it uses. Drinking water comes from our own springs. In the power plant, electrical energy is produced with a drinking water turbine. Today, the Bachgut produces 100 % of the energy it needs from renewable energy sources.
